that's the beauty of the red rock trails
there is literally something for everyone
start out in black canyon>> there is a
steep climb out of the wash, but it's very
sticky rock(no locker required)
cruising through the next wash, you can
drop into a lower, parallel wash (if you want to)
which has a couple little rock waterfalls to climb
then jump back on the trail. a similar rock waterfall is just to the right, a mile or so down the trail. there are a few different trails to drop in to "last chance wash" one of them is basically
a dirt rd. one has a few very steep drops (again,, very sticky rock, no locker necessary) BUT: in the dark, it may intimidate some:shock: if some folks need more action>
there is a very challenging waterfall near the opal mine, and few more just off of last chance, below the V-notch, 2 more at the corner of EP-26 & EP-11 on the east end of the trails. SO,,,,, lets put something solid together

BTW: we don't drive home until morning light, so bring a little food, a little drink, a sleeping bag, and maybe a tent
