Cudahy then towards opal up the hill?
Or east before Cudahy (spelling looks wrong) which is a short cut to the tunnel?
Or one of the other side trails?

If it's to the left before the V notch, we ran that canyon for the first time about 10 years ago. Unfortunately, since the State Parks took over Last Chance as part of Red Rock all those cool side routes are closed. But, you could be talking about something else.

yea,,,, its the left just before the V-notch. no signs saying the trail is closed.
we only made it to the top of the second waterfall, then turned around.
how is the rest of this trail & where does it end up? we want to go back
and finish it.

There was a sign post at the beginning of that trail a couple years ago that said no motor vehicle traffic, but you could see rubber on the rocks and that the plastic sign post had been run over several times. Unfortunately, places like nightmare and last chance will be closed for good one day.

We ran that canyon green, was a fun day.
It doesn't end up anywhere, on top of a low ridge and it's soft and hard to get all the vehicles out of the canyon at the top. It was late and we didn't know where we'd end up trying to find a way out so we just drove back down the canyon. Finished in the dark. If there is no current sign, and evidence of traffic, I'd run it again. It was a real bummer when the State Parks took over Last Chance. There were all kinds of fun side routes that all got posted no access. It made me so mad I haven't been back to Last Chance since.
