You going up the freeway/black gulch side or the piston monument side? I know I can make it up the black gulch side but I'll more than likely need a strap up the last section before the borderline turn off I'm only running 4" lift and 31's with open diffs in my Cherokee. Also when do you plan to go? My girls gotta be at work at 5pm so that also decides if i go or not... Post up some more info and I'll let u know (when where what's required etc)

im only on 31' with open diff too . probaly go up black gulch to rancheria to evans flats and around that way. as far as time not sure yet i was gonna try and jump on to JBwelds group if it was close to what i wanted to do. i would like to meet around 8 at chevron leave 830 and head up.

About how long does it take for y'all to get up to Piston Monument from 178? I would love to watch you guys.

Kim were coming up the other side, up black gulch. I have 2 seats open if you feel adventurous lol I'm told Im a little nuts . I'm sure my gf won't mind she's real friendly... The piston monument isn't too bad it's the spot where it splits just below there that sucks lol.

Santa brought a new red dot for my rifle, so we are going to test it out somehwere...but I promise to point away from Black Gulch. Hahaha

I wouldn't go down freeway stock. I dont even like going down it with a 4" lift and 31's lol. You will make it for sure but yOu may get scratched up a lil.

Yeah, so one of these days Ill have to bum a ride with one of you guys, if thats alright. It'll be awhile before Im prepared to do it all by myself!!!

Ur jeep can do it with no problem... Just have to pick the rights like or get the right spoter lol

Freeway ridge is a very easy trail don't let anyone scare you. When my samurai was stock I done it and didn't have any problems and even though I'm not stock now it is still easy in 2 wheel drive so don't be afraid just pay attention to your lines and you will be fine
