Day run..... why, are you scared of the dark? :thefinger: Personally... I don't really care for night runs, but whatever floats your boats (actually GJ explained this to me... the heat).

The distance thing I completely agree with. I do lots of runs into Big Bear, JV, etc.. Unless its a very special thing like the Con, very few Bako crew members will travel too much further than Freeway or BC109. It's sad, but that's the way it is.

Jeeeez yall. Cut the lady some slack. She has been to more places than most of yall put together this year, including the Rubicon, BB, Cougar Buttes, Calico, Last Chance Canyon, The ridge, Gorman, snow runs Etc. She also never misses a meet & great, gets involved in all the fundraisers, and participates in 2 parades a year. She makes most of the dudes in this club (including me) look like Web-Wheelers.

Sometimes, folks just want to disappear to a local trail for the morning to get away from the stress of life. Its great to live in an area where you can do that. Back*a*poo is having a shitty week.

And come on, night runs are freaking awesome. Its not just to avoid the heat, we do night runs in the snow in the dead of winter too. Its the added difficulty of not being able to see obstacles well, combined with a little crazier atmosphere than day runs. Most of our carnage happens on night runs.

Sorry? I don't think I offended, but if I did.... Sorry.

Now.... Seeing Becca's been outed, traveling should be no problem.

Let's do Mottino. :thefinger:

I won't be able to go. Both Jeeps and the Deuce are down for Maint/upgrades before the fall wheeling season.

We can wheel to evans, have lunch, then go back down the trail, the ones that do not want to go back down can drift down Rancaria

i'll have to trailer my pickup for awhile, but it will be trail worthy by saturday
mid-day-ish. so,,,, you and mad*matt (and everyone else) come up to my neck of the woods. a few folks from bakes will be up this way. there's something for everyone, and the tougher obstacles have bypasses (less winching) the weather
is supposed to be nice. we can wheel a little saturday evening, and sunday morning. i'll be 50 in a few months, that drive home from rancharia at 4am kick my :moon: . i have to shake down my pickup before calico and i prefer the waterfalls in black canyon, and out by the opal mines, plus some untried (at least by me) stuff near the opal mines. :redX:

So you are going up freeway on sunday? I have not been on a run in a long time and was hoping to hit that trail this weekend as well....is there anything set up yet? sunday morning meet up at mesa marin chevron about 8 or 9??? leave by 9 or 9:30. I don't remember there being some many guidelines last time I went out, maybe we can go and have fun and when you are ready to leave....go for it.
