Fordyce

If you are thinking about doing a run and just want to put it out there, this is the place to do it.

Fordyce

Postby abendx » May 21st, 2012, 5:37 pm

Not so much of a proposed run, but one that will occur. Dates are being hashed out, but likely it will fall under the same time frame as the IOR Con Run (full group run).

This isn't my run, but it is an IOR run. Just wetting appetites while they work out the details.

I was told that they only want hardcore rigs with drivers that don't give a fuck. So likely the rig requirements will make the ones I usually put out look mild and these guys will look to do the hardest shit they can find. Since I have never been to Fordyce, I can't tell you what is out there and what is required. I know there is one hell of a water crossing at one point!

A couple of cherry picks from PBB, the link for more can be found below.

I have ran Fordyce once with a friend that worked for Inchworm. That water crossing can and will swallow 40s if you go at the wrong time. This is a no bullshit trail there are by passes but they are hard too. Bad ass trail really pretty area but hard. I went in a well build yota on 40s and it was tough.

No dont know how high the water is now, but I would say pull your drain plugs out and keep you electronics off the floor.

Yeah.... I think they are looking for the dates when PG&E goes low flow on the river.

Added a link to the first post for some pics of the trail.

During Desert Storm I slept behind the steering wheel in my M998, then when the ground war was over it was 5 of us in a GP Small, in 1993 I had to go back to Saudi Arabia, stayed in Khobar Towers, yes the place that was bombed, that place was nice, was a 5 bedroom apartment, big screen TV, stereo, even had a Toyota Landcruiser to drive, I worked in S-3 and worked 12hrs on and 24 hrs off, most of my off time I was at the pool working on.my tan, or downtown shopping, and I was getting combat pay for.this too Iraqi Freedom it was a GP Medium until 2 days before the attack, then it was behind the steering wheel or on top of the fuel tanker I was hauling behind my M931A2, then it was an old building, we built our own shower, toilets, ran a generator for.power, and called it home, in 2005-2006 when I went to Iraq again, I stayed in a trailor, had TV, Fridge, laptop, and internet

That's because gay guys always carry lube and know how to get the tight dry spots nice and loose. Is this not what is occurring in the following pic?
